Over $6000 in cash to be won for WAG Competitive Levels 1 to 6
Date: Friday 25th September to 29th September 2009 (September school holidays)
Venue: Gold Coast Gymnastics Club, Pacific Ave – Miami, Gold Coast Queensland
Format: 3 to 5 gymnasts per team / 3 highest scores to count
Divisions: There will be 2 divisions for WAG levels 1 to 4 a novice division (limited hours of training) and also a WAG 1 to 6 competitive division.
Judging Requirements Gymnastics:
Level 1 – 3 Queensland Beyond 2006 WAG Level 1 to 3 Program Available GQ website
Level 4 – 6 as per Queensland Addition to AGF National Program Beyond 2006 Available GQ website
Indication of attendance form - Due Wednesday 1st July 2009
Date: Wednesday 30th September to 1st October 2009 (school holidays)
Venue: Gold Coast Gymnastics Club, Pacific Ave – Miami, Gold Coast Queensland

Cost of Entry WAG & MAG Gymnastics: $50.00 per gymnast
We are happy to allow individuals to compete. We can place them in a mixed team with gymnasts from other clubs. If the mixed team is awarded points the points, will be split between the clubs in that particular team.

Mini’s (under 8 L1&2 only) Primary (12 years & under L1-3)) Junior 14 years & under L1-3, Teen Secondary 11-18 years L1-4&4.2 Open (over 14+ years L1-6)) Male / Female 5 – 36 members,
Group Stunt -Youth, Junior, Secondary & Open divisions only. Within each division please nominate level entered. We will follow World Wide Cheer Competition Handbook rules for 2009. Available on GQ website
Group Stunt Teams Size
5 or more participants regardless of their age and or ability level. Teams can consist of mixed gender.
Cost of Entry Cheerleading: Cost per cheerleader is $25.00 each team member and an additional $5.00 per team member for stunt groups.

Every Day: Gold Coast Has Talent – the talent quest where anything goes accept gymnastics. You have 30sec to impress the guest judges and possibly win the cash prize. The talent quest will be held every day before presentation. Gymnasts, coaches and members of the audience are eligible to enter. You may enter as a team or individual. If you have a talent come and share it with us.
Gymnasts Clinic - WAG Levels 1 to 3 $30 per gymnast
2hrs of fun & learning using a 17 metre tumble tramp, 2 trampoline base pit systems, bars over pit, safety harnesses and 2 full floor areas (foam block not coil) Wednesday 23rd September and or Monday 28th pm, after full club presentation if time permits. TBC after final schedule confirmed..

Beach Party, MEET N GREET – Burleigh Beach – God Fathers of the Ocean surf school will again be on board to offer trial lessons with a guarantee to have your gymnasts surfing the shore break in no time at all. So come join us anytime of the day for a sausage, some beach games and a chance to catch up with our friendly staff and volunteers.

Cheerleading Competition – everyone is invited to join us at Gold Coast Gymnastics Club for this fun event. Lots of fun, entertainment, prizes and giveaways. To start straight after WAG presentations.
*Monday 28th September
WAG Closing Ceremony - A closing ceremony and a final presentation will immediately following the final session presentation on Monday 28th. We encourage all team members from all clubs to attend this presentation. There will be several short displays to highlight different gymsoprts and the Overall Champion Cheerleading Team will be invited to perform at the closing ceremony.

Theme Park Family Fun Day In 2009 the traditional Wet n Wild day will be offered with prizes on the day and loads of fun. We are also working on offering multi park options so stay tuned for ticketing options in our next update.
*Wednesday 30th September
MAG Competition Starts – this is the first year MAG have been included and we hope it is an enjoyable experience for our boys and their competitors for years to come.
*Thursday 1st or Friday 2nd October
