CONGRATULATIONS TO KRYSTAL HOYER-SMITH ON GREAT RESULTS AT REGIONALS
Krystal recently represented Gold Coast Gymnastics at the Brisbane South regionals at Moreton Bay College.
Krystal came 2nd overall in level 3A with a 1st place on Uneven bars and 2nd on Beam and Floor.

DOMONIC, SHAWN AND ETHAN SELECTED IN QLD STATE TEAM SQUAD
Congratulations to Domonic, Shawn and Ethan on their selection in the Qld state team squad after impressive results at Brisbane Grammar over the weekend.
Domonic placed 1st Overall in Level 8 Under 15 over both days of competition and was 1st on all six apparatus.
Shawn also placed 1st Overall in level 8 Open including a 1st on Vault and High Bar. Shawn was no further back than 3rd on any apparatus.
Ethan finished 6th after the 2 days of competition in Level 6 Under with a 1st on High Bar and a 3rd on Rings.

LAWNTON MAG INVITATIONAL & LEVELS TEST RESULTS
Congratulations to all our boys for passing the levels test at Lawnton this weekend.
Team Podium Results
Level 2 - 1st on Floor, 1st on Pommel, 3rd on Parallel Bars.
Level 3 - 1st on Floor, 3rd on Pommel, 3rd on Vault, 3rd Overall.
Level 3 - Rylee Jenkins also combined with Lawnton to come 2nd on Floor, 1st on Pommel, 1st on Rings, 2nd on Parallel Bars, 2nd on High Bar and 2nd Overall.
Level 4 - 1st on Floor, 2nd on Pommel, 1st on Rings, 1st on Vault, 1st on Parallel Bars, 1st on High Bar and 1st Overall.

FAREWELL TO HELEN
After starting with our club in 1993, Helen has decided to move on from Gold Coast Gymnastics.
Helen has been responsible for many successful events for over a decade and for making “Wet n Wild” a truly unique event special to our club.
We would like to thank Helen for her true dedication to her position as events manager as she has worked tirelessly over the years to help make our club the success it is today.
Good Luck, you will be sadly missed.

INTRODUCING OUR NEW EVENTS COORDINATOR AND COACH JANE WILSON.
Jane Wilson, formerly the head coach at Chandler Comets, Heatley Gymnastics and more recently Southport Gymnastics Club, will be joining our coaching team in term 2. Jane has a wealth of experience and knowledge in competitive WAG and has frequently served as a State Team coach for National Championships. Jane will be taking over some WAG CT1 and CT2 Gymnasts, as well as helping with most other WAG CT groups.
